Craig was having an agronomist do testing of his greens to see what could be done to stimulate growth, improve quality and overall appearance. The Agronomist happened upon Biofac and their SurgePro Growth Enhancement product. He had heard of this product being used quite successfully in agriculture and thought it may transfer to turf management.
 Contacting Biofac, Craig and the Agronomist found that one of the ingredients in SurgePro was Indole Butyric Acid, one of the supplements he was presently using.
An order was placed with Biofac for a gallon of SurgePro and it was applied to some practice greens as indicated; 1 - 1 ½-ounces per gallon of water per 1000 Square Feet, every two weeks.
After the first two-week period, the difference was amazing. The turf was greener and thicker with a much better clipping ratio, and the root growth was phenomenal. Root growth actually tripled. The roots of the treated turf were healthy, long and hanging down. Craig found that grooming and deep slicing the greens prior to treating helped the treatment get to the roots faster.
Hawk’s Landing has found that they are seeing a very noticeable savings on water
and their Greens and Tees require less work sodding and reseeding.
 Additionally, Craig found that SurgePro actually heals bare areas. Spray the mixture on the bare areas, overlapping the sod on the fringes and the bare areas will fill in.
This product will not harm
the turf. It is Failsafe. The turf cannot be over-treated. The roots will only absorb as much of the product as they can use.
SurgePro is not a substitute for proper greens management. Continue your usual management program but add SurgePro to your regimen.
 Hawk’s Landing tried TrophX on several control greens. The trials were so successful that the Course is now treating all greens and plans are underway to introduce the product to all Marriott Properties. With Orlando’s climate, Craig grooms and treats year round. In the colder climates, where temperatures
