MAY - NOV. 2002, STUDY SHOWS INSECT COUNT IN
1.2 MILLION BUSHEL CORN FLAT STORAGE AT
UNITED FARMERS COOPERATIVE
YORK, NEBRASKA.

SIX POINTS WERE FLAGED AND NUMBERED IN THE GRAIN PILE.  WE USED STANDARD 5’ BRASS GRAIN PROBE SAMPLE WEIGHTS WERE FROM 580GR TO 668GR

BEGINNING ON JUNE 6 2002, WE BEGAN RELEASING 34,000 ANISOPTEROMALUS CALANDRE (A C) AND 20,700 WHAREHOUSE PIRATE BUGS IN TWO-WEEK INTERVALS TO THE TOP OF THE GRAIN. 

THESE CHARTS SHOW RESULTS FOR THE TREATEMENT PERIODS SHOWN.
